Short And Funky!

This stamp was one of those giveaway ones from the front of a magazine,Born To Shop by Docrafts. I have never coloured this kind of image before but am fairly happy with how it turned out. The hair though, was a bit of a mishap,I've managed to make her look like she's sporting an Afro instead of the short and funky hair do that's on the packet. First I coloured it as the image was shown but the yellow hair look rather horrible so I started adding a few highlights, still didn't like it and it kind of progressed from there, like a hair cut in reverse lol!

Looks a bit cheeky doesn't she! How anyone can walk in such heels, let alone shop is a mystery to me,maybe it's an age thing but my cupboard houses only flatties!

I 'm using this for a couple of challenges:-
Simon Says Stamp,Jay Jay's Sketch,
Colour Throwdown 111,I'm hoping the hair can count for "river rock" with all those highlights!
TPE 84,Aqua,
C4C56,bling,
Don't forget to check out Scrapbook Sister's blog for this week's card challenge,
Thanks for stopping by,

Great card Julie. Love the hair!! I'm with you re the shoes. It amazes me how women can actually walk in some of the heels let alone shop in them!! My feet ache after a few hours in flats.x

Oh my goodness gracious! I can so relate to that head of hair - it's ME on a typical HUMID day in Iowa. Dear-oh-my-oh-me! She looks as frazzled as I do when I shop - which I don't like to do at all.
I work on a university campus so I'm used to seeing funky, spikey, pointy shoes of all color and design on the girls (unless of course they are going 'casual' in flip flops or bedroom slippers.) Very cute card Julie!
