OTT?

I can't make cards any more :( it's not like me but I'm really not feeling like I can do this anymore. I've got a few cards that I really have to make as occasions are looming. I don't know if it's because I've not made any for a few days and I'm out of the swing or maybe it's because I haven't had time to blog hop, that can get those creative juices going. Anyway, this card looks a bit as if I've gone back a couple of years but I do know that my mum will love it. I used my latest purchase, some new Nestie Squares and Scalloped Squares, I also treated myself to a new Paper trimmer as my trusty Fiskars is struggling. My new one is a Martha Stewart,it has a great slide out extension which means you can line paper up from the bottom as well as the top,I'm not so impressed with the way you have to change between the blade and scorer but I'm hoping that I can buy an additional slider to make it easier. Does anyone else think that these paper trimmer designers should design a slightly longer one so that you don't need to remove the edge strip from 12x12 papers!!! Anyway I think the card is self explanatory, I have no idea where I got those flowers from, they've been in my drawer for ages. I used some quickutz dies on the card and brushed the tulle with some stickles.

I'm using this card for the following challenges :-
Art Impressions 8,Getting punchy,
Charisma Cards 11,To Die For,
DYSU11,Add a bow,
Stashbuster 1,Anything goes,
Papertake Weekly,Triotastic,(White flowers, gems)
Crafty Creations 110,Mothers day,
Anything Goes Challenge,Die Cuts,
Bearly Mine 6,Mothers day,
DCD85,Mothers day,
Happichallenge 14,Recipe.
Thanks for stopping by,will try harder next time!

Hi, Julie! I sure can't tell that your mojo is on holiday because I really love this card! I mean it! I also agree whole-heartedly with you about paper trimmer manufacturers! Sometimes you have to wonder what they're thinking, huh? Anyway, thanks for playing with us this week at Amber's Crafts and Stuff. I hope you'll join us again very soon.

Oh sweetie, this is so pretty, I love it! Know exactly what you mean about throwing it all in, I've had more days than I care to count when I've felt like that. If this is what you come up with when you are on a low day I don't think you need to worry any! Hugs Sxx

I would so love my trimmer to be just a tiny bit longer, it is annoying to have to take the strip off - how am I supposed to remember where I got the paper from then lol. Love your card, and I agree with previous post, if this is you on a bad day, I really need to up my game. I, like your mom, would love to get that card. Thanks for joining us at Amber's Craft and Stuffs first challenge, hope to see you again next week. Hugs lin

This is gorgeous Julie, and dont worry about your mojo...he always comes back. Mine packs his back often and dissappears for days, I just ignore him, I blog hop instead, look at everyone elses work, admire them all, and soon mr.mojo slinks back in through the back door...
