The overall winner of the hop will receive all 6 images and there will be 5 winners of 1 image each. Of course there will be the usual Challenge Winner and Winner using an LCI image and Top 3.

christmas cupcakes

So it all started with Lisa setting us a photo challenge, then Kerry decided it was about time to treat us all to some new Christmas digis, There are 6 images in the set which is called Snowman Delight and they are £1.75 each.

So, I'm the first stop on the hop, and the image that Kerry gave me to get crafty with is
"Mr and Mrs Delight"

I'm really into paper piecing my images at the mo so had a bit of a rummage in my scrap drawer and found a piece of double sided paper, I used one side for Mr and the other side for Mrs, I even found a little patterned corner on the paper that I used for the parcels. If you don't know how to paper piece a digi, it's really easy, if enough people are interested perhaps we could sort out a tutorial, just mention it in your comment.

I fussy cut the image out, and made a centre stepped card, tearing some white card to make the snowy hills, I embossed some of the white and also added some stickles for a bit of sparkle. I couldn't decide on where to stamp my sentiment then came up with the idea of stamping Merry Christmas onto a scrap of card then roughly drew a sign post around it. I then used the same colour Copics that I used for the fence to colour it before cutting it out and placing it between the layers of torn paper snow. The snow on the top of the sign is a tiny strip of torn copier paper, simply glued to the top edge.
You can find the full details of the hop Here

The next stop on the hop is Kath, one of the three guest designers joining is for some blog hopping fun.

I'm using my card for the following challenges:-

C4E, Anything goes,
Dream Valley 40, Something old (papers), Something new(digi),
Squirrel and Fox 26, Anything goes,
Crafty Catz 149, Christmas,

Julie, julie JULIE!!!! Love love LOVE IT!!!! I must try these stepper cards more often...you did a great job of 'fussy' (never heard that one before!) cutting the image...especially Mrs arm and the fence. Love the embossing and the torn snow drifts but especially the hand made sentiment sign...might have to commission a few images from you lol xxx

A song from 'The Sound of Music' popped into my head when I saw this card..."These are a few of my favorite things..." The details of this card - well FAVORITE THINGS! Paper piecing, step card, torn paper for the snow...on and on! FAVS! Then I was thinking I should make a list of my favorite Julie cards...then I thought...oh wait - that already exists - it's called her Rainbow Days! Again and again I am inspired by your creativity and craftsmanship.
