I used the Cricut and Plantins Schoolbook Cartridge to the cut 3 circles to achieve the Easel and to cut the 5 layers of the flower. The leafy swirls were cut using the Calligraphy Collection Cartridge.
The Papers are from the Fine And Dandy 6"x6" paper pack by My Minds Eye,all the edges are brushed with a chalk eye.
I used self adhesive pearls for the flower centres.

ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by my blog today, I just wanted to answer your question and say that Yes, the Low GL diet would suit a vegetarian, my other half is a fish eating veggie (pescatarian??) and there are some nice veggie recipes in that book that we all enjoy, although Im sure you would find heaps more online too.

ReplyDeletehey, i was a florist at one time too. my very first job, training as a florist in a london hotel and then for longman's in ludgate circus. although i went on to have a dancing career. i love flowers and anemones are a particular favourite of mine too!
ReplyDeletei have a vase with three bunches of violets sitting beside me right now, sent by a sweet friend. they even have that lovely delicate violety smell mmmmmm heavenly! such a treat on a cold, wet january day.
it's so exciting when we meeet people here and find we have things in common.
i also meant to say that lemon drizzle cake is my favourite too! i sometimes add blueberries or raspberries to the mix or just have a few on the side.

Wow Julie can I just say that I love, love, love this card! Gorgeous flowers and leaves, and I really like that you use the flower to prop the easel bit too, I'll say it again I love this :-)
