Anything Goes!

How about a nice easy challenge for a Wednesday?  It's Scrapbook Sisters' Challenge 41 and the theme is Anything Goes! Now I could have got a bit more adventurous with my DT card I know but there I was,sat at the table about to craft when I heard a little voice from a brown paper bag on my desk. I tried to ignore it but it kept on saying "Pick me,pick me!" Ok  maybe the voice was in my head but I have to admit that this gorgeous sheet of scrumminess has been calling to me ever since I chose it as part of a class kit a few weeks ago I have stroked it against my cheek on numerous occasions (I know I'm amongst friends and can admit to this) but there was no way I could use it for a layout,it had to be a card for this beauty! The paper is Haunted,"Harlequin" by My Mind's Eye,it's velour on this side and dotty on the reverse. The Sentiment is Forever Friends, stamped in brown Stazon. I got out my neglected Cropodile to add eyelets to thread the knotted string through and to punch holes for the brads. I love this simple card!

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
Clear It Out,Keep it Simple,
SOS5,Tools of our trade,
MIM42,Anything goes,
PIO25,Metal,
CYDA22,Monochrome,
C4C92,Use String.

Don't forget that Scrapbook Sisters also have a fortnightly giveaway so don't for get to enter your name when you check out the rest of the DT cards!
Thanks for stopping by,

  7. I love this simple card too!! You can always tell when paper is expensive and I think it really works when you leave it quite CAS. (Ha, ha - and I know what you mean about the paper stroking too!! I bought lots of the MME Lost & Found papers in the sale at Hobbycraft and they're so glittery and lush, I don't want to cut into them.....mmmmmm!!) Hugs Marie xxx
