Childhood Memories.

It's time for a new challenge with the Southern Girls and challenge 22 is Childhood Memories. I must admit that I was rather pleased that the international sponsor for this fortnight is Heather Ellis meaning that I got to play with one of her lovely images, the NZ/Aus sponsor is Mad for Markers.

The Paper has been in my stash for simply ages just waiting for the right image to go with it. This cute little Pure Innocence image 29 is just perfect for the job.

I had a little trouble at first colouring her with the Copics as I added shading for the features, lol, the poor child ended up looking a bit like a pig. I got there in the end though and I love the way she now looks.

I would like to add that the nearest I would have got to a bird as a child was the time I opened the door and knocked one out by accident. Boy did I get hysterical,I thought I'd killed it! have had a bit of a phobia ever since.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
Craft Room,Summer birthdays,
Digital Tuesday 117,Flower power,
Paper Minutes 172,Red and Lime green,
CYPC64,Use red,
Forever Friends,Must include an animal,
Lexis 43,Bugs,(butterflies and Bees on DP)
OLLCB83,Summer flowers,
Stamps R Us, There was a little girl,
Bee Crafty 51,Summer's here.
That's it from me for today,
Thanks for stopping by,
Julie.x

She is so sweet! Doesnt look anything like a pig! I so know what you mean...sometimes the cartoonish images are hard to colour the faces...someimes I do one colour only...shock horror!! And just add some cheeks.

Just what I needed - an adorable card and a good ol' belly laugh when I read the 'pig' comment! BUWAAHHAAAAAHHAAAA
I see the name of the image is 'Pure Innocence'...my initial thought was: "Bird? What bird?"
