My Baby's Fourteen Today!

I don't know where the years have gone but she's grown into a beautiful, kind, gorgeous young lady.

I'm sure that Mo Manning has seen her at some time as this image is so her, though I've been informed by the birthday girl herself that "It can't look like me, the parting is in the wrong place and I don't wear a necklace".
I however think it's her to a T, especially the glance up under her hair and the Uggs (other makes of footwear are available lol!). She is from the set Dani and friends.
I'm sure that you may have noticed that I'm still getting the "Patchwork" out of my system.

A New Challenge At Southern Girls.

Slugs,Snails and Puppy dogs tails,That's what boys are made of lol! and that's the theme for the latest challenge at Southern Girls. there's some fab sponsors again this month, check out the challenge blog for full details. For my DT card I used a Mo Manning stamp and coloured it to match my papers using Copics. The design I've left fairly simple for a no fuss teenager.

You can just about see that I decorated the inside to match the card front.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
RRC13,For the boys,
Bearly Mine 20,3 DPs
Deep Ocean,9,Birthday,

Stars In Your Eyes

It's time for a new challenge at Scrapbook Sisters, hopefully you're going to like the theme for this week, "Stars"  The image is a Mo Manning stamped image coloured using Copics. The scrummie papers are by Fancy Pants and part of the "Rough and tumble" collection. They were part of a class kit a couple of weeks ago. I cut some stars using a Sizzix die embossed them and distressed them using chalk eyes.

A while back I kept the ribbon that was wrapped around a new M&S shirt, there was writing stitched in to the black tape using cream and gold thread. I turned it over and added it in loops at the edge of the paper. I love the look, makes me think of piano keys.

Then all that was needed was some doodled stitches and a sentiment.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
Stamping Boutique 12,Young male birthday,
CCH79,Embossing,
Cupcake 154,Stitching,
MIM49, Anything goes,
Cardmakin Mamas 26, Birthday cards,
That's it from me till tomorrow, thanks for stopping by,
