Morning all, what a day the Ladybugs have in store for you today, you can come and visit us all, stop for a coffee and a catchup and check out our latest creations, all you need to do is leave us each a comment so we know what you think and when you've finished the hop, make a decision on which of the images you like the best, simples!
The overall winner of the hop will receive all 6 images and there will be 5 winners of 1 image each. Of course there will be the usual Challenge Winner and Winner using an LCI image and Top 3.
So it all started with Lisa setting us a photo challenge, then Kerry decided it was about time to treat us all to some new Christmas digis, There are 6 images in the set which is called Snowman Delight and they are £1.75
each.
So, I'm the first stop on the hop, and the image that Kerry gave me to get crafty with is
"Mr and Mrs Delight"
I'm really into paper piecing my images at the mo so had a bit of a rummage in my scrap drawer and found a piece of double sided paper, I used one side for Mr and the other side for Mrs, I even found a little patterned corner on the paper that I used for the parcels. If you don't know how to paper piece a digi, it's really easy, if enough people are interested perhaps we could sort out a tutorial, just mention it in your comment.
I fussy cut the image out, and made a centre stepped card, tearing some white card to make the snowy hills, I embossed some of the white and also added some stickles for a bit of sparkle. I couldn't decide on where to stamp my sentiment then came up with the idea of stamping Merry Christmas onto a scrap of card then roughly drew a sign post around it. I then used the same colour Copics that I used for the fence to colour it before cutting it out and placing it between the layers of torn paper snow. The snow on the top of the sign is a tiny strip of torn copier paper, simply glued to the top edge.
You can find the full details of the hop Here
