What A Lovely Weekend.

I've had a lovely weekend, on Saturday I went to
"Begonia Crafts"
first ever crop. It was great to catch up with some old friends, make some new ones and spend the day crafting. Then yesterday we celebrated our 29th Wedding Anniversary, I say celebrate, well, we don't actually bother too much, but we acknowledged the day, maybe we will do the celebrating bit next year lol!

Anyway, I made a few Christmas cards, this one using a Nitwits magazine giveaway stamp from last year.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
Cut It Up28, In circles,
Crafters Companion, Embossing.

Cricut Happy!

Struggling with ideas for a card for my brother-in-law, I resorted to making another negative cut on the old Cricut. That centre point button sure is useful!

To make the panel look interesting I just pierced along the edges and popped it up on foam pads, wrapped some twine around it and added a charm.

The Land Of Make Believe.

It's time for a new challenge at Southern Girls,
This one foxed me for a moment, that was until a rather gorgeous little girlie asked if she could read me a story, handing me a book of fairy tales.

So I've made her a book mark. (I've yet to give it to her)

The image is "Whispy" by Saturated Canary, one of this fortnight's sponsors, she was a real dream to colour. Please check the challenge blog for full details of all the sponsors.
I made the bookmark to sit over the page, adding magnet spots to each side to hold it in place.

Lavinia Flower Power.

Morning!
Where did August go?
I can't believe that it's time for my second Lavinia challenge as one of the Design team, this month there's two more lovely ladies joining the design team so be sure to give them a visit.

The challenge for this month is
Now that's easy enough, all you need is to follow the theme and use one of the gorgeous Lavinia images.
There's a bit of a story behind my image choice,
many moons ago, my very first job was a florist where we often sold Nigela, more commonly known as
Love-in-the-mist,
one of the girls I worked with gave it the nick name,
 Snog-in-the-fog,
It's stuck in my head and always makes me giggle so when I saw the set of two stamps I just had to have them!
Here I placed masking tape over washi tape and stamped my image, I've made sure that the tape is well secured on the inside as I know that there's a possibility that the tape could lift easily but I just wanted to try it out, I'm loving the look!

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
LIM135, Stamp,
ACR, CAS,
HC21, Stamp,
WS62,CAS.
