Oops!

I've just realised that I didn't post my mid way reminder card for the Lavinia challenge.

oops, it's a bit late now so instead I will say be sure to join us for a new challenge tomorrow!

I love how the strip across the bottom turned out, I just  used post it notes to mask off the card sponging into the space and used the tiny flower stamp. I dotted liquid pearls onto the centres and sprinkled generously with glamour dust.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
 Stampin For The Weekend, Sparkle,
TSB6, Use glitter,
Kaboodle Doodles, Use ribbon,
MIM180, Anything goes.

Swing In The Breeze With The Southern Girls.

It's time for a new Southern Girls Challenge Theme
and it's a particular favourite of mine.

The gorgeous Melody is by Make It Crafty, one of the great sponsors of this challenge. Please check the challenge blog for full details of all of the sponsors this time.
Her outstretched arms were just begging to  raise up a banner. I have a confession though, the usual hand cut bunting went out of the window as I am now the extremely lucky owner of a new gadget, I used the "Scan n Cut" to cut each of the triangles of paper and to cut out the letters for "Happy" I'm rather pleased with my Polychromos colouring, it's no way perfect but it makes me Happy lol!

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
CM31, Use a sentiment,
TTPH30, use pencils,
MIM180, Anything goes.

We really hope you plan to join us and why not take time to

visit the rest of the design team, decide which image you

like the best and leave a comment on the challenge blog to

let Kerry know. You could be in with the chance of winning

Isn't it gorgeous! I just love the way the baskets hang there from the line! I added a little hand doodled line down the left hand side,a few dots of liquid pearls and a sprinkle of glamour dust, as simple as it gets!

I felt brave enough to break out the Polychromos for this one too! The birthday die cut by PTI, double cut to give an interesting shadow and a tiny computer generated sentiment, hand cut and doodled on to make it look like it hangs from the Y. some paper piercing and layering and voila, card complete!

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-

OSAAT 200, Use a digi,
TCCB193, Stitches,
ABC, F for flowers,

Quick And Colourful

A quick card made at the weekend using the scatterings on my desk.
The negative cut from cutting a circle, making the perfect mask for this design. The pile of ink pads left out along with make-up sponges and my new Lavinia stamps still in the envelope. I love it when a quick card just works! Even the ribbon was there on my desk, can't wait till I feel up to spending time on a good old tidy up!

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
LIM, Rainbow,
MIM177, Anything goes,
CAGI, CAS,

Tranquility

Boy, the first of the month soon creeps up on you!
And the first of the month means it's time for a new challenge theme at Lavinia Stamps. There were lots of entries last month, it seems that there are many crafters who love to create using Lavinia stamps but don't have blogs and the new option of being able to email challenge entries was very popular!

The requirements for this month are:-
I did a bit of resist stamping, stamping the wings in clear Versamark and embossing with clear embossing powder before masking and inking my background using little make-up sponges. I then stamped the wings again using a purple colour ink, moving the stamp slightly to the side and down to give the effect of a shadow. I then just used a selection of stamps, inks and stickles to frame the image before adding a computer generated greeting.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
CC216, Anything goes,
SACC42, Anything goes,
CFAS69, For the girls,
CM35, Add sparkle,
Simon Says, Twine,
DOCB70, Fantasy,
MIM176, Anything goes.

During the month of February there will be an extra chance of winning a prize with Lavinia, anyone can enter and you do not have to enter the monthly challenge though we would love it if you did, just leave a comment on this months Challenge blog post to be in with the chance of winning a £20 voucher to spend on
