Dragonflies.

Thought I'd share a quick, simple card made using a magazine giveaway  butterfly stamp and die.

A bit of embossing, some twine and a florish with a few sequins completes my card,

Tic Tac Toe!

It's time for the new challenge with the Southern Girls.
The theme this time is
and for my card I followed the centre vertical line for my project, I wasn't able to use an image from the sponsor this time due to time commitments so instead I used die cuts on my card.
Please check out the challenge blog for full details of all of the sponsors this time.

I'm a bit disappointed that my focal die cut doesn't show up so well in my photo, the busy papers disappear slightly into the background a bit although in real life the Kraft layer of "birthday" sets it off much clearer. Maybe I should have played with the lighting to help it show up better.

CC120 Anything goes.

Pick A Colour, Any Colour!

There's another colour challenge this month at Lavinia,
this one's an easy one,

If you would like to be in with a chance of winning the £40 Lavinia voucher prize, all you need to do is ink up your Lavinia stamps and enter, you don't even need to have a blog as email entries are accepted.

I really love my latest Lavinia stamps, for my rabbit card, the green layer was created using the
oh so gorgeous "Ivy border"
because my cardstock is textured, the detailing is subtle but take it from me, it's a stunner!
To add my greeting I thought it would be fun to make a sign post, to create this I inked just the stem of "Zen leaf" and hand trimmed my computer generated words, doodling around the edges and placing them using glue and foam dots.

I used the Zen butterfly for this card, inking my stamp with brown for a more subtle look, colouring with a selections of Copics and adding stickles to the wings and glossy accents to the body. the background is randomly stamped again with the script and very faintly with the Stone texture.

I used Guilding flakes on doublesided tape around the edges of my image.

My final card shows off the Ivy Border more clearly, stamped onto a pink frame created with the ScanNcut.

I added colour and sequins to the butterfly on the

I also decided to add some inky stitching to define my butterfly.

I'm using these cards for the following challenges:-
GCC16, Butterflies,
CAGI, Distress it,
TCCB, Number's up,
ITP70, Wings.
