Magnifying Glass Needed!

I'm sorry,I've no card to share with you tonight, just ran out of time to play. I have however got some rather exciting news to share with you........
I'm Junes Guest designer for Ladybug Crafts inc !!!!!
So if you call by on Tuesday you'll see my first card for the Totally Ladybugs Tuesday challenge. I feel totally honoured to be part of their great team of ladies for the next 4 weeks,be sure to call by their blog to catch the present challenge, Make your own embellishment.
So what's the reason for the title?  well if you're familiar with my rubbish technical skills you wont be surprised to see that I've re sized my GD badge and left it a tad too small,no wonder the cat's looking up in disbelief lol!
Thanks for stopping by to share my news,
Happy crafting,

Looked Better In Real Life

I'm a bit disappointed, my son needed a card yesterday, this was a relatively quick make and I thought it looked just fine and perfect for a teenage boy. I took some photos,he wrote the card and posted it but I didn't upload the photo till tonight.
 IT DOESN'T LOOK GOOD :-(
but my son and his friend loved it!
The 6x6 paper pack is by My Mind's Eye,"Out of the blue, Lime twist",they are double sided and are just so scrummie, I have a thing about polka dots and there are lots in different colours and sizes in this collection. I just embossed one of the papers and brushed it with an ink pad to add definition.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
Freshly Brewed 49,Guy thing,
Dude Time Doodles, Sketch,
Craft Your Passion60,Guy,
Make It Monday 39,Anything goes,
OLLCB,Happy Birthday,
Squigglefly 100,3 of something,(star brads).

Don't forget,if you make a card for a male, here's another challenge for you.

Christmas?????

I'm back again,I said I was going to make the most of my week off! It's time for my second DT card of the week, this card is for Southern Girls where the latest challenge is "Mid winter Christmas"  obviously in England things are a little different it might feel like winter some days but in reality it's getting towards summer. So anyway,Challenge 20 is to make a Christmas project,it doesn't have to be a card! I used my Tilda, coloured her using Copics and embossed the background using a Cuttlebug snowflake folder. (I'm going to share a little secret,my first attempt was horrendous, Tilda looked like she'd got trapped under a sun lamp,I'm not feeling brave enough to share the results but my fellow teamies have had a good giggle! The amazing sponsors for this challenge are....... wait for it,you best sit down..........For New Zealand and Australia,LOTV and Joanna Sheen and the International sponsors are The Beary Scrap!!!
I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
CCC26,Christmas+snowflakes,
Corrosive Challenge 118,Oh Christmas Tree,
Dream Valley8,Stamp something,
CUYL 44, Recycle,(chocolate box ribbon)
Crafty Emma 38,Embossing,
CHNC 22,Use Ribbon.
That's it from me for today,
Thanks for stopping by,

It's A Man's World!

Oh my goodness, how time flies when you're having fun! and what with it being half term break,I'm planning to get as much fun as I can,my kind of fun :-) The crafty kind!!!!!
If you find yourself with time to craft, why not enter this weeks challenge at Scrapbook Sisters, week 38's theme is "It's a Man's World."
For my DT card this week I used one of the images from my Marij Rahder stamp set Suzy 6,coloured it using Copics and teamed it up with Bo Bunny's Learning Curve,Recess paper. I coloured the chipboard stars from my stash with my gold ink pad and covered them with Glossy Accents.
I couldn't remember the colour of my brother's present motorbike so coloured it black like his very first motorbike,an old BSA. Not sure he'll be happy about the size of the bikers' bottom,I might have to do some major grovelling if he think I'm comparing it to his lol!
Unfortunately I'm having a spot of printer trouble this week so couldn't go down the digi route but if you fancy seeing some amazing images just perfect for men's cards, check out Gayle Bonds recently released Car images, they are amazing and available exclusively at Scrapbook Sisters.
Thanks for stopping by,
Happy crafting,

MMMmmmm????????

I'm loving the Less is more challenges, they really make you stop and think,in fact I'm thinking that maybe less of the picture and a slightly lower sentiment may have worked a little better. Want to know what else I'm thinking? maybe I take far too long on some cards when one of these simply creations looks so good! The challenge this week was to pick a square on your card to use for your focal image, call by their blog for more information. The lovely pansies by Papermania Botanical were stamped using Momento Tuxedo black and coloured using Copics.
I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
Less is More 17,Pick a square,
Simply Create 44,Special day,
Crafty Purple Frog,Things of beauty,
Crafty Sentiments,Special Occasions,
ABC Challenge,V is for violet.
I'm off to experiment again using another square,
