My Secret Weapon.

I don't quite know where this one came from lol!
I've been playing with the idea of not using my scalloped punch right to the edge of the paper for ages.

I just love the look that it gives, letting you glimpse the cream of the card base behind. The scrummy little remnants sit on my desk for ages, tempting me to use them in my makes, maybe that will be a project for the future? who knows.

I have a confession to make though, this wasn't the greetings stamp I was after, if I wasn't such an untidy crafter I would have used my Woodware "Jane's script" sentiment but where it is, I have no idea,I'm hoping that when I discover the right hand side of my desk, the gorgeous delicate script will be there under the chaos.

The hearts are held with just a thin central drizzle of glue, "stitched" with my secret weapon.
Ok, I fake it, I pierce the holes with a pattern making tool and use my Copic multiliner to doodle the stitching.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
CYP160, Text/Sentiment,
LTC63, Punches,
MIM138, Anything goes,
C4E19, Anything goes,

Still not quite there with the results but thought I'd share the second of my FlitterGlu and Guilding flake cards. I was a bit heavy handed with my distress inks I think

But how I just love the way the guilding flakes look on this die cut, you can really see all of the colours.

Check out my gorgeous Swarovski Crystals and pearls!

A Little Flitter

A few weeks ago my lovely Sister In Law took me to an open day at the Craft Barn. It turned out to be quite an eventful day one way or another, the place was heaving, but I managed to squeeze in and watch a demo by Kay Carley where she used a product called FlitterGlu, well, I just had to treat myself.

This was the card I made when I got home, wish I'd got Kay's photographic skills as my photos don't do justice to the gorgeous glimmer that the guilding flakes give.

Inspired Kay's cards I just tapped the edges of my Lavinia stamped panel with a sponge and FlitterGlu

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
CRAFT204, Fantasy,
CRC44, Anything goes ribbon,

Three,Stars And Some Buttons.

Evening all and a very warm and smiley welcome to my new followers, YAY!!!! That takes me to 200!
I'm sharing a card I made a few weeks ago but haven't had chance to share with you till now. Simple is the word but a simple that took ages to decide on, even paper on the number was deliberated on and replaced again even though the rest of the card was finished, luckily though it completely covers the original paper which looked dull and dowdy in comparison.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
DC, For a child,
CIOCB, Anything goes buttons,
Papertake Weekly, One paper,
FF7, Stitching,
MIM136, Anything goes.
