Looked Better In Real Life

I'm a bit disappointed, my son needed a card yesterday, this was a relatively quick make and I thought it looked just fine and perfect for a teenage boy. I took some photos,he wrote the card and posted it but I didn't upload the photo till tonight.
 IT DOESN'T LOOK GOOD :-(
but my son and his friend loved it!
The 6x6 paper pack is by My Mind's Eye,"Out of the blue, Lime twist",they are double sided and are just so scrummie, I have a thing about polka dots and there are lots in different colours and sizes in this collection. I just embossed one of the papers and brushed it with an ink pad to add definition.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
Freshly Brewed 49,Guy thing,
Dude Time Doodles, Sketch,
Craft Your Passion60,Guy,
Make It Monday 39,Anything goes,
OLLCB,Happy Birthday,
Squigglefly 100,3 of something,(star brads).
Thanks for stopping by,
Julie.x
Don't forget,if you make a card for a male, here's another challenge for you.

And what's wrong with it then missus? I think it's a BRILLIANT teen card - loving the funky papers and bold colours. The ticket sentiments are inspired. You're too hard on yourself hun, this is a little cracker. Hugs, Sxxx

I have had this happen. I once thought I was finished with a card - and only when I took a picture and got ready to upload it did I find a whopping area that I missed with coloring!
However this is a very nice card - the embossing is just perfect!

Your card is the perfect simple and sweet birthday card! And great for a guy card too! Sometimes I think we feel like we always need to add just one more thing when in all honesty your creativity really shines through this project in your embellies and layering! FAB take on the sketch too!
