Remember Me?

This has to be the longest  that I've gone without blogging for a long time, I don't know where the time's gone. It was half term for us last week and we spent a few days away, it was torture for me, don't get me wrong, I had a brilliant time and spending time with my lovely family is always good but I didn't take any crafting stash with me, not even a pencil or a pair of scissors!....... Never again!!!!  I've lost my mojo somewhere along the way, I can't colour and you won't believe how much paper shuffling I did before changing my mind completely and giving up the idea of  making a card altogether! I even made completely the wrong DT project initially but luckily, I had just enough time to make/ cover  this note pad and the bonus is that I already have a project ready for the following challenge, lol!

Anyway, before you run off, bored by all my waffle, the theme for this fortnight's TLT challenge hosted by Sally is

So,as long as you're project has something along those lines in it, this is the challenge for you!

I used a notebook, parcel tag, staples and a paperclip, stamping only part of  "Shopping Ruby by LCI" on to my tag before making a poor attempt at colouring her, sorry Kerry, I must try harder lol! I did enjoy collaging all the elements, I've had the scrap of "My Minds Eye, Follow your Heart" paper on my bench for ages, I've stroked it and used most of the double sided paper but this piece was just so special, it needed to wait for the perfect moment to be used! Ruby fitted the bill a treat, she so reminds me of my niece who I've made the note book for. Check out my crocheted Rose too, I made it last year and it's been in my drawer ever since!

I'm using my project for the following challenges:-
ATSC42, Things with wings,
C4E6, Anything goes,
Crafty Pad 195, Anything goes,
C4C161, Anything but a card,
Crafty Catz 157, Add texture,

Cupcake 217, Kraft,
Lawnscaping, Dust em off,
TTT89, Heart,

Julie.x

Hi Julie - I love this little notebook. The image is so sweet and I'm sure Mr Mojo was sat somewhere close by when you made this project! Thanks for sharing it at The Crafty Pad this week in our "Anything Goes" challenge.

Don't you just hate it when you go on holiday - come back - only to find that your muse stayed back on holiday?!? I know exactly how you feel. And packing card 'stuff' for mobility is NOT my strong suit. I usually don't 'go mobile' because I never know what to take - and the LAZY Nancy - never likes the idea of putting everything back in place when the mobility is over. Maybe I need to start buying TWO of everything! I could keep a 'mobile me' ready for a card making holiday in an instant! (Don't think I would want to explain that one to the dear husband!)

Adorable notebook!!! Looks like your muse showed up after all!

No need to apologize Julie your coloring is fabulicious! I've never had the courage to color on kraft cs and I've seen a lot of it lately so maybe after seeing yours I'm going to have to take the plunge! Fab notebook and that crocheted flowers is ba-rilliant! I attempted this once and gave up as it looked like a moth had it's way with it hmph! xxx
