Would you like to know the honest truth of how this card started? Well, after watching several You-tube demos on how to use a brayer, I decided to free my "Speedball" from the drawer and break out my luscious boxes of
inky goodness and brayer a background. Well, that was the plan, in reality though all that happened was I used up a ridiculous amount of copy paper and a whole load of patience and became rather frustrated.
I CAN'T BRAYER!
Anyway, wanting to create a rainbow of colour and make a card fit for my beautiful neice I decided to put the brayer away again and use makeup sponges to build up a vibrant background over the masked full moon I then bought in a little colour and swiped some shadowing across it before using a collection of various Lavinia Stamps
to create a scene.
A computer generated wording, ribbon, a sprinkling of "Glamour Dust" and a few squeezes of Stickles complete the card. If you fancy the chance of a £40 spend up at Lavinia, Ink up your "Lavinia Stamps" and join us in this months "Anything Goes Challenge".
I'm using this card for the following challenges:-

WnW118, Wings,
CR72, Anything goes, ribbons,

Of course I don't mind Julie, the idea came put of not being able to stamp much.
Fingers crossed I will soon be able to do more and get around blogland as well, my head is slowly getting back into place.
Love, love your creation.

Wow! This one really caught my eye, Julie! I love your beautiful vibrant inky background, however you made it! It really shows off the lovely fairy silhouetted against the full moon. Love the added texture too, and just the right amount of glitter!

Well your frustration certainly paid off. Glad you stuck with it because this is stunningly beautiful. Those rich colors are the perfect backdrop to this spritely fairy! Lavina stamps are so unique and you do them all justice. Who needs a brayer anyway! I only use mine for pressing design paper onto the base card. Strictly utilitarian in my craft world - no artistic use at all! Brayer be for swishin!

Absolutely STUNNING Julie! hugs x
How frustrating for you Julie! But you know, no-one can brayer on copy paper, it just doesn't blend nicely - try doing it on a nice smooth card stock instead. Anyway, you made the most gorgeous inky background with the make up sponges. What a beautiful magical scene! Vicky x
