My Secret Weapon.

I don't quite know where this one came from lol!
I've been playing with the idea of not using my scalloped punch right to the edge of the paper for ages.

I just love the look that it gives, letting you glimpse the cream of the card base behind. The scrummy little remnants sit on my desk for ages, tempting me to use them in my makes, maybe that will be a project for the future? who knows.

I have a confession to make though, this wasn't the greetings stamp I was after, if I wasn't such an untidy crafter I would have used my Woodware "Jane's script" sentiment but where it is, I have no idea,I'm hoping that when I discover the right hand side of my desk, the gorgeous delicate script will be there under the chaos.

The hearts are held with just a thin central drizzle of glue, "stitched" with my secret weapon.
Ok, I fake it, I pierce the holes with a pattern making tool and use my Copic multiliner to doodle the stitching.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
CYP160, Text/Sentiment,
LTC63, Punches,
MIM138, Anything goes,
C4E19, Anything goes,
SS April,Special Occasions.

Thanks for stopping by,
Julie.x

So many things about this that I just love! Must get me a pattern marker - I think I have a wheel like that somewhere - buried in the sewing drawers. Yes - I NEED another tool! Great idea with the scallop!
