As I used the png version of the image I was able to layer two sizes of the image together before colouring using Copics.

I used a piece of acetate to resemble ice and drizzled some threads of "Stickles" to act as skate marks.

It's Me Again!

Four days in a row, I told you I'd make up for my lack of post recently!
This ones my Southern Girls DT Card,

There's some great sponsors again this time, my image is by "Bugaboo" who is one of them, check out the challenge blog for full details of the others.
I coloured it using Copics, fussy cut it out, shaped it slightly and placed it over the edge of my card using foam pads. It doesn't show up too well but I added a thin scalloped border in green then placed some picot ribbon and embroidery thread with the tiny chipboard heart threaded on to it.

I'm using my card for the following challenges:-

Got Something To Say?

Morning! not like me to be late with my Southern Girls DT card but I was out gallivanting last night so didn't get time to write my post.
If you read this Mrs P.. thanks for a lovely evening!
 Anyway on to the challenge.

For my card I used digi papers "Paisley Fleur" by "Eiglassing" (this is the first time I've ever used digi papers and I was surprised at how easy it was)
The fab image and Sentiment are
"JJ housework, cook" from "Bugaboo" both of these companies are amongst the sponsors of the challenge, check out the challenge blog for full details of all of the sponsors!

I coloured JJ using Copics and cut her out, placing her over the aperture cut using Nestabilities.I added glossy accents to her specs and the wine glass.

Isn't the image fun! not sure JJ would be much of a cook though lol!

Used a Sizzix florish under the sentiment and then decorated the back adding somewhere to write my greeting. The papers were printed on to pearlised white paper.

I'm using my card for the following challenges:-
DTC153, Use your favourite colour,(pink)
PTT61, Anything goes,
MIM82, Anything goes,
CCH12, Add a sentiment,
CMCC, Anything goes,
DSC85, I'll drink to that!

On The Road!

My eldest daughter passed her driving test yesterday, she's over the moon and can't wait till the weekend to go out on the road without the "L plates" I'm really pleased for her though as you can imagine, more than a bit nervous at the thought of her driving on her own.

Here's the card that I made for her using a Bugaboo Friday Freebie. I coloured it with Copics, cut it out and mounted it onto foam pads. The grass was cut using the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge,by selecting the fit to length button and setting the dial to 6" I was able to cut the grass to fit my 14 cm card, I only needed to trim 1 blade of grass off. I coloured some peel off line border to serve as the stems of the Prima flowers and attached these to the grass before gluing this to the sponged road and placing the car.

The centres of the flowers were made using a circle punch and the L plates are some table confetti I've had in my stash for years.

The greeting is an old Midnight Media foam stamp with a little doodling around it.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
Catch The Bug,Anything goes,
Cute Card Thursday 138,Anything goes,
Karber 13,Digi with an animal,
Lexis Creations 26,Anything goes,
Fairy Tale Challenge Blog,Everything goes,
CCEE1045,Shop bought flowers,
That's it for me today, can't wait for my daughter to come home to give her the card.
