I Fancy Mirrored Monotone.

Good Morning, a bit of an early start for me today, I just couldn't sleep. I ended up getting up after laying there for ages, my mind working overtime on things that I need to achieve over he next few days both at home and at work.
So I decided to get up, catch up on some comments and then suddenly remembered that I hadn't made this post.

As this week saw the last challenge of the year for Southern Girls, I thought I'd join team Trace in there challenge
even though it was really a bit of what my daughter fancied, being a name card for her friend's birthday.
So, if you fancy joining us this month, there are some great sponsors as always and we would love to see your creations!

I'm using this card for the Challenge:-

Shine Like A Star!

It's time for the new challenge to start at

The theme this time is

Now, you may have noticed that I've not blogged much recently, that's because I haven't been able to do much in the way of crafting as I've managed to hurt my shoulder.
This means that I wasn't able to use the gorgeous image from "Art by Miran" that I was supplied with, one of the sponsors this time, please check out the challenge blog for full details of the sponsors of this challenge.

Luckily though I had made a card for my son that I haven't yet blogged, luckily it does also have a star on it!

I made my card using the ScanNcut, this time instead of making the front and back in the shape of the name, I welded the name to a curved rectangle. Initially I left the inside white but felt that it lacked that little something then my eye was drawn to my box of washi tape, a few lines gave the perfect result.

Name Card

I thought I'd share my latest
 Scan N Cut make

I created the card using the weld option then also cut each letter out individually so that I could create dimension and interest. The balloon is a long neglected Quickutz die cut.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
Bloggers, Birthday,
Brown Sugar 107, Anything goes,
SACC70, Anything goes.

Just Another Name

Just another name card using the ScanNcut. this one with some hand cut bunting.

Not much else I can share with you at the moment I'm afraid. I've been sewing instead of creating cards, making some Caterpillars for work, I wish I'd remembered to photograph them before I'd given them to the children to play with. They were really cute and the perfect thing to help them develop the skill involved with buttoning their own clothes. I'm hoping that my crafting buddy Karen may have taken some photos of them the other evening otherwise I'm going to have to photograph the played with version lol! that'll teach me!

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
Crafting at the weekend, Anything goes,
Totally Gorjuss 235, Don't be square,
PPC176, 2 or more dp
TTPurple Haze, Anything but square.

What's In A Name.

I'm sorry, I'm still going through my ScanNcut shaped card phase.

Still, think yourself lucky it's not another number card lol!

I have to say though, it does make for a great "Boy" card. The tag that you can see behind the star is actually where the greeting is written, being that the card made entirely from the letter shapes, this is really needed.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
JBCC April, Anything goes,
TCC April, Boys,
GGWSC, Anything goes,
PTT169, Anything goes,
PDE8, Anything goes.
