It Clearly Says Birthday!

I can't say that I was over the moon with this card,
I didn't think it looked so bad but then it's like the camera really doesn't lie, it looks a bit off balance now that I can see it here.

Well maybe not off balance but a little bit.... well, hanging there. It's too late to worry about it now as my son gave it to the recipient last week but if I ever decide to make another, I will sit the flower slightly lower.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
OSAAT219, Anything goes with a die,
CC19, Use acetate.

Thanks for stopping by,
Julie.x

p.s. If you've not stopped by my blog this week, you may not know that sadly
Ladybug Crafts have a closing down sale.

Hooked

A quick post sharing a card made last weekend.

Another bit of practice with the Polychromos, some washi tape and my trademark tiny tag (lol), this one is rather smaller than I'd meant it to be but as I was crafting away from home at the time I had to go with what I'd got and that was the one from the sheet that I'd printed out in the wrong size, oops!

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
FAF109, Birthday,
Graph it 10, Male colours,
KIS35, stripes,
SSC110, Young man,
PCJ, Boyish,
MIM181, Anything goes.

Today's The Day!

So exited, from the moment I sneaked a peek at this image I knew it was going to be a firm favourite of mine, in fact  I've already used it on three cards!

The new release is called

There are twelve new Digi images altogether

and they are on

sale as from today at only £1.75 each.

The challenge theme for this fortnight is:-

We really hope you plan to join us and why not take time to

visit the rest of the design team, decide which image you

like the best and leave a comment on the challenge blog to

let Kerry know. You could be in with the chance of winning

your four favourite from the new release!

Isn't it gorgeous! I just love the way the baskets hang there from the line! I added a little hand doodled line down the left hand side,a few dots of liquid pearls and a sprinkle of glamour dust, as simple as it gets!

I felt brave enough to break out the Polychromos for this one too! The birthday die cut by PTI, double cut to give an interesting shadow and a tiny computer generated sentiment, hand cut and doodled on to make it look like it hangs from the Y. some paper piercing and layering and voila, card complete!

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-

OSAAT 200, Use a digi,
TCCB193, Stitches,
ABC, F for flowers,
C.Companion, Feb, CAS,
FCC25, Dies.

Simply Last Minute

No surprise really, my son always leaves it till the last minute to request a card, in fact, this one was requested and made yesterday and yet another last minute request was made today for another party tonight but I'll share that one with you another time. You'd think that I would have perfected a "quick 18th card" but even my quick cards seem to make an age to make.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
CFC125, In a word,
CCC1, Birthdays,
STB1, Numbers,
CBD, Birthdays,
PWC292, Buttons,
Sisterhood of Crafters, New,(PTI Die)
