Sweet Treats!

I'm always saying this but I don't know where the time goes, the first week of my Easter break has already past and although I planned to get some major crafting in, it just hasn't happened.  The children have been busy all week and I suppose that lots of my time has gone by playing Taxi, how lovely it is that they're making the most of their break, going out instead of staying home like they usually do, my babies are growing up fast!

Kerry, had a little brain wave yesterday and decided to give us all a calorie free Easter gift from Ladybug Crafts Ink, how great is that! There are so many beautiful cling stamps to choose from and whilst you're there, why not take a look at the stunning range of digis too, you don't even have to wait very long for delivery where they are concerned either.

Here's a card I made using one of the new Teenager Digis,  First car Josh. it all started with me playing with my xcut stamp dies, I was trying to see if I could use them to cut a shaped card like I do with my nestabilities. Yay!!! it does, I just folded my card and cut close to the edge but then cut another full stamp in my DP. Now, it was my sons 16th birthday on Thursday, you might remember that I used Xbox Josh for his card made a while back. I know that this is way in advance but to be honest I was just playing with an idea, I coloured Josh up, added a reg  to the number plate,I used one of those date stamps, was a good job that I used my copic to ink the stamp as the first time I placed it I did it upside down. LOL! used the blender to remove it before going in again. The postage mark is part of a Forever Friends set I bought the other year.

I'm using my card for the following challenges:-
Allsorts 149, Bingo diagonal line from top left,
With Attitude 10, Anything goes,
Bloggers Challenge, To die for,
Cardmadfairies 30, Die cuts/Digis,
JKOC1, Anything goes,
Cards for Men 7, Great outdoors,
MIM 83, Anything goes,

Happy Easter!

Double Challenge

Second and final visit of the day, this time with the other male card I made yesterday. Same stamp I know but I can get away with that, can't I?

I followed The Shabby Tea Room Week 4 challenge,Embrace the white, making a card with a mainly white theme, you were able to use one other colour along with the white, obviously I chose to add green using My Minds Eye Quite Contrary paper. The Sketch Challenge that I followed is Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge M.T.S.C.68. I will definitely use this sketch again on a girlie card as it was so nice to do.
That's all for today folks!
Thanks for stopping by,
catch you later in the week,

The waiting game!

Had to spend the day at home today waiting for "The" Laptop to be collected for repair so thought I'd use my time wisely doing non noisy things so that I wouldn't miss the door bell. Of course,I could have chosen to do ironing but that might pose as a danger, leaving an unmanned iron to answer it! (that's my excuse anyway) lol ! Much safer to spend the day crafting. The only trouble is that all my girlie projects are up to date leaving a long list of men's cards still to do :(

Thought I'd find a few challenges to do whilst I tackled them. The card I'm showing this evening is following the Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge 63, haven't managed to submit one for this before as I usually forget that this one closes on a Thursday evening so I miss the deadline. The Just for Ewe I bought years ago ,forgot I'd got it,I thought I could use this for a man's card. I used my C1 Copic to get some shape into the image and used the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder to emboss the white strip of card. The Papers are My Minds Eye Quite Contrary which I've used along with some bright green card stock. That's one off my list, will show you the others through the week, will be hitting a few more challenges along the way too!
Forgot to say,4pm came and I received a phone call to say that "The" Laptop collection had not been booked, have now got to spend another day tomorrow waiting to hear the door bell. Card making or course work????? I really cant decide!!!
