Accidents Happen.

I was planning on today's card being a one layer card with just some decoupaged butterflies, however, accidents happen and when I went to stamp the butterflies with the script background by Kanban, I couldn't tell where the mask finished and the sponging began so impatiently I ran  a pen around the edges not realising that the ink had bled through to the card. I couldn't waste it so die cut the frame and removed the back of the card, to bring it together I pierced around the edges.
Hope this still qualifies for a "Less is more" entry!

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
GNS37, 3 of something,
OG159, Wings,
PBAM, CAS,
LIM124, Hexagons,
CCC June, Wings.

Framed and Flittered And Flaked.

Still not quite there with the results but thought I'd share the second of my FlitterGlu and Guilding flake cards. I was a bit heavy handed with my distress inks I think

But how I just love the way the guilding flakes look on this die cut, you can really see all of the colours.

Check out my gorgeous Swarovski Crystals and pearls!

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-

Lime And Black.

My oh my, it's been a much nicer day today, fingers crossed that there will be no more snow flurries from now on, it's certainly been lovely to see the sun out today!
I made this card to fit in with this weeks "Less is more" theme,"Lime and Black". The swirly black stamping is a Kanban stamp, its first inking, shame the lighting makes it look a bit grey. I once again used my butterfly stamp to make a side on fluttering beauty, I just love it coloured with the lime green Copic with a few spots of stickles. The sentiment is by Woodware,

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
LIM114, Lime and black,
TG178, With sparkle,
CCEE1314, Wings,
ATS, Winged things,
CM, Winged things.

Fingers crossed for more sun tomorrow :)

Another Fluttering Trio

I treated myself to another set of stamps with butterflies, this set is by Kanban. I just couldn't resist giving them the bright Copic treatment again and setting them into tiny die cut frames with embossed backgrounds.

I just wish that I could capture just how sparkly the Gelly Roll  has made them, you can only see a hint of the sparkle here, the glossy accent bodies just about show up. The usual paper piercing and the jobs done!

I made a bracelet for my lovely friend too,

Wrapping it in tissue and hiding it in the Grand Nestie Hexagon Petal envelope.

At last I've found a use for this die cut!

I'm using these for the following challenges:-
