Time For A Newe Release

Good Morning, it's time for a newe challenge theme at Totally Ladybug Tuesday, and to make it extra special there is also a newe release!
The theme this time is

The Newe Release is called

My image is called
"I D'ewe"

Isn't it just the best!
There are 16 new images altogether and they are available from today for only
£1.75!

There's lots of ways to win images this time,
You could be in with a chance of winning the entire 16 images, all you need to do is stop by and comment on the rest of the design team cards and also the lovely  and rather talented
who is joining us as a Guest Designer for the newe release.
This lady is a colouring queen so please be sure to call by her blog and leave her some Ladybug love!

Just check out Eunice's veil! I simply did rough cross hatch colouring using my clear Gelly roll stardust pen. I also cheated a bit using the ScanNcut to cut out my image, I inly needed to use a blade to cut the areas that were landlocked like between the heads ans the legs, not bad eh? I can tell you it certainly makes an easy job of it!

I am so excited with this release, it just lends itself to some fun sentiments and I've heard that there is an image suitable for almost every occasion!
Go on have a go:- especially for Ewe, Thank ewe, Wishing ewe a speedy recovery........
the list seems endless!

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-

CWWC69, Die cuts,
DV81, Anything goes,
ASC74, Wedding.

Thanks for stopping by,

I am so sorry that my post went up late!

A card ordered by a work colleague.Aren't easel cards just a pain to photograph, the photo really doesn't do the card justice, I have to say I was more than a little pleased with my first large die cut card. Totally Ladybug Tuesday.

Well,it's all happening at the LADYBUGS,Laurie is now a permanent Bug and I've been given my wings, actually,I might get them taken away next week but that's a whole new story, will fill you in next Tuesday lol! Seriously though, I was beginning to think that I was destined to keep the GDT title forever but it turned out to be an oversight ;) Thanks Lisa!
What did you all think of the new Magnum Digis, aren't they fab! I hope you all enjoyed the "hop" as much as we did!
I used my Magnum stamp for this week's DT card .

The challenge this week, set by Amanda is to use Autumn colours with the option of using additional folds in your project. This was just the kick up the backside that I needed to make an easel card, I don't know why I've left it so long since I last made one,I love making them!

I used  some neglected Basic Grey papers and some off cuts from my drawer. The papers had some,(sorry have forgotten the name but they look like teardrop shapes) I cut these out and turned them into a flower with the addition of a punched circle to the centre. A papermania scalloped border die, doubled up to make the panel across the middle,it doesn't show in the photo but I used up some sequins which IRL add a bit of interest to the brads. I used a brown fine liner to add the blanket stitching to the edges of my papers,I saw a tutorial somewhere the other week on how to do this, wish I could remember where so that I could share it.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
Incy Wincy,Fancy folds,
OLLCB89,Dies and punches,
Magical Mondays,Punches and dies,
Victorine Originals 17,Easel,
Come and Get it,Easel cards,
Pile It On 39,Fancy folds,
The Crafty Pad 140,Stitching,
Just Some Lines,Fall colours.

Now on to possibly the quickest post ever to share a tiny easel (7cm sq.)I made as an example for a friend who has never seen one. Please excuse the photo,I've had so many attempts at taking it but even with the daylight bulbs I just can't seem to get the light right.

Cutie Pie,

When I made this card the other week, ready for Southern Girls challenge "Totally Loved Up"I had never made a shaped easel card before, this one is only just over 3"tall,it was a labour of love,I played around with it nearly all day but I love the outcome.
I cut the hearts using the Cricut and Plantins Schoolbook, the text was achieved with the computer. The cute little image Lily Lovebug is by one of this challenges sponsors,Pink Cat Studios,I coloured her with Copics, cut her out, shaped her and popped her up using Silicone glue.

The banner was hand cut and layered onto Glamour card this doesn't show very well in the photo but its sticky backed glittery film a bit liked sticky backed plastic,it's LUSH! I added foam pads to the centre and scored the banner to act as a stop for the focal heart.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
Scrap Creations,Love is in the air,
TTT17,Anything goes,
Woodware USA9,Anything goes,
OSAT44,Love and Valentine,
Allsorts 85,Fancy folds,

The Papers are from the Fine And Dandy 6"x6" paper pack by My Minds Eye,all the edges are brushed with a chalk eye.

I used self adhesive pearls for the flower centres.

Last Card Before Christmas.

Thought you might like to see the easel card I made for my daughter's friend,I'm hoping the girlie forgives me as the Mo Manning digi image rather resembles her.

I cut the scalloped frame using Cricut Plantin's School book and also the Scalloped strip, coloured the image using Copics to match the Paper Pack Tickled Pink by My Mind's Eye.

I cut a tiny scalloped frame for the numbers, used a flower punch and used some peel dots for their centres.

Added some hand drawn stitches and some stickles to the skirt and cake and brushed the edges with various chalk eyes.

Flowers Don't Clash,Honest!

How horrible do the flowers look in this picture! I can't believe the photo looks like this when in reality they are a perfect match.

This is the card that I made for my daughter's birthday, how about this image, isn't she fab! I came across her purely by accident when I was lucky enough to win the challenge at Dotties World and called by the blog of Karen who sent me a message about delivery of my win (a fabulous Tilda Image). How generous Karen is to share her talent with other crafters.

I coloured her using copics then got creative with the Cricut cutting the scalloped frame and the numbers using Plantin's Schoolbook Cartridge.
The papers are "Fine and Dandy" 6x6 paper pad by My Mind's Eye.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
CYDA10,Punch it out! (flourishes),
CES16,Anything but a Christmas card,
CCT143,One for the kids.

On The Road!

My eldest daughter passed her driving test yesterday, she's over the moon and can't wait till the weekend to go out on the road without the "L plates" I'm really pleased for her though as you can imagine, more than a bit nervous at the thought of her driving on her own.

Here's the card that I made for her using a Bugaboo Friday Freebie. I coloured it with Copics, cut it out and mounted it onto foam pads. The grass was cut using the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge,by selecting the fit to length button and setting the dial to 6" I was able to cut the grass to fit my 14 cm card, I only needed to trim 1 blade of grass off. I coloured some peel off line border to serve as the stems of the Prima flowers and attached these to the grass before gluing this to the sponged road and placing the car.

The centres of the flowers were made using a circle punch and the L plates are some table confetti I've had in my stash for years.

The greeting is an old Midnight Media foam stamp with a little doodling around it.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
Catch The Bug,Anything goes,
Cute Card Thursday 138,Anything goes,
Karber 13,Digi with an animal,
Lexis Creations 26,Anything goes,
Fairy Tale Challenge Blog,Everything goes,
CCEE1045,Shop bought flowers,
That's it for me today, can't wait for my daughter to come home to give her the card.

Southern Girls Challenge 5,Transport

I'm guest Designer at Southern Girl's Challenge Blog this month and this weeks challenge is "Transport". I played around a bit with this Fun Digi Stamp from Digital Delights to make it suit my needs, you can check out the original image Here.

I coloured it using Copics, removed part of the image replacing it with a photo of my Nephew and his best friend,I left the background of the photo as I thought it made it look like view from the back of the bus. I added a steering wheel (the original bus image was left hand drive) and used some stickles and some Dew drops on the lights.

My Nephew is mad on Tortoises so I cut some using a QuicKutz die and added them to an acetate fold down strip to the edge of the crossing.

I sponged a road to the background, masking off areas to leave the white lines. On the base of the card I lined up and raised a white line which serves to stop the back from sliding forward and running over the tortoises lol! The tickets are freebie digi downloads. I coloured up some Peel offs for the Number plate.

I'm going to enter this card for the following challenges:-
Papertake weekly,Penny for the guys,
Paper Sundaes 42,For boys and men,
Paper players 22,Anything goes,
TOSCCB104,Anything goes,
Wee Memories,29,Anything goes,
This is my second post for today so please scroll down for my previous post,

Scrapbook Sisters Card Challenge Week 9.

Well, another week has flown past and already we are up to Challenge 9 at Scrapbook Sister's Card Challenge. This week the challenge theme is Autumn,my favourite time of year. I just love the gorgeous colours of the trees at the moment.

I decided to make an easel card using a Gayle Bond digi stamp, available exclusively at Scrapbook Sister's the "Seated girl"was just perfect for this. I coloured her using Copics and mounted her on to the folded edge using foam pads.I cut a Scalloped edge using the Cricut and glued one flat to the bottom edge and used foam pads for the middle, bottom one, placing them so that they make a wavy line effect. The greeting is from a set of Papermania clear stamps,I stamped it using Distress inks, cut it free hand and double matted it.

The flat backed self adhesive gems are also papermania and the flowers are a selection of prima flowers.

I think this girl should be called Claudia as she so reminds me of Claudia Winkleman. What do you think of the fur trim to the coat and hat? I so enjoyed playing with the colours,my youngest thinks it looks like Leopard print. I just dotted various colours all over the area then covered them using E00,not blending them,I then put a few drops of blender ink onto a piece of tissue and dabbed it over the area several times, looks great I think.
Hope you join us this week so that I can come visit your blog,

Scrapbook Sister's Card Challenge!

Yes,it's Wednesday again and time for a new challenge at Scrapbook Sisters. I can't believe how quickly the weeks fly by. There were some great entries for last weeks challenge, well done to everyone that entered,I for one certainly found it a challenging theme, lol! This weeks theme is a nice easy one,"Flower Power" everyone can do this one, right?

Here is my DT card, hopefully to inspire you,I think That maybe I took the theme a little further than was needed but hey, with these scrummy papers,Petal Pushers-Doodles by Bo Bunny it just had to be done. If you read my previous post you'll know the card caused me a few problems but the main one was that I wanted to get a number on it too.My lovely image is Coffee time by Sugar Nellie, this girl is a bit wacky but she dressed to match the papers lol!

I used some lovely black flat backed gems both on the frame flower and along the edge to help stop the easel slipping I added a Sizzix Die cut flower and used my cuttlebug to emboss the pink frame, also cut using a Sizzix Die.

I hope my lovely friend Emma who the card was for, wasn't too shocked by this colourful creation and that she had a great birthday yesterday.

I do hope that you feel inspired to enter this week's challenge,

Thanks for stopping by,

Easel Does It!

Yes,I've done another easel card,I should have made 3 cards today but my husband decided to work from home some of the day so I lost my place at the dining room table resulting in just the one card.
The papers are magazine giveaway ones from a while back. I've used 4 patterns of papers in all,the raised section is made up of strips that had been cut previously which I layered up then added a length of gingham ribbon to. I stitched a button to the centre of my bow and stitched through the card as well just to make sure it was extra secure.

Check out how I've matched the pattern where the sections meet!
I covered a chipboard oval brushed the edges with a chalk eye and added stickles My lovely Gorjuss girl was coloured using Copics and mounted onto a Sizzix die cut frame,I I covered the back of the frame so that the centre hole isn't visible. I know this might sound odd but I liked the idea of the shaped stand up back, does this make sense to you?,I fear I'm making it all sound a bit complicated lol! I added more Stickles around the edge.

I'm using this card for the following challenges:-
Southern Girl Challenge 3,4 layers of patterned paper,
Paper Playtime Challenge 19,Ribbons Buttons or Rhinestones,
ABC Challenge,E is for Easel,
That's me for tonight,I hope to get the other cards made tomorrow, till then,
thanks for stopping by,
Julie.x
