Been A Busy Girl!

Well, Father Christmas will soon be flying over off to leave presents for all the good boys and girls!
Today I have been a busy girly and have also spent a little time in the "Crafty Cabin" I do seem to have left things till the last minute this year.

The little red bag was made using my Stampin Up Envelope  Board (I think that's what it's called) It took a 11x11" square of bazil to create it, it's big enough for a net of chocolate coins and a coupe of chocolate penguins.

It really is a great gadget! I just wish I'd given myself more time so that I could have added more decoration to the tiny money wallet/bags that I also made using 8x8" DP.

Then I got cracking making my mum a card, I know, it's similar to my card from the other day but this one has loads of glitter and a splash of red too!

I'm using these for the following challenges:-
ACC January, Anything goes, no cards, (Red bag)
PR13, Washi Tape,
LIM151, as week 143, twine,
Craftitude 55, Christmas sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by,

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

It seems that every week my daughter comes home with at least one request for a friend's birthday.

I'm thinking that maybe I need to start charging her, how much ironing do you think is the going rate lol!

Sweet Treat

I thought I'd share the little envelope bag that I made, just the right size to put a couple of chocolate lollies in to give to my boss' granddaughter.

I can't remember where I saw the idea of making an envelope into a gift bag but it is so very easy to do,just involves sealing an envelope, cutting off an edge and scoring around three sides an equal amount to give the depth of the bag. I also scored 2cm down from the trimmed edge to fold into the top and to reinforce the edge so that there is enough strength to thread the ribbon through. I decorated the front and back using Dovecraft papers, die cuts and Meljen's freebie image coloured using Copics.

I threaded bells onto the velvet ribbon before threading it through the punched holes.

I'm using this for the following challenges:-
Stampavie 121,Make a gift,
DDCC93,Winter,
Creative Card Crew,Anything goes,
Fussy and Fancy Friday,Show us some snow,
Hanna And Friends 75,Just a little Christmas,
CES17,Anything goes,
Paperplay 50,Anything but a card,
Meljens 38,Sweet as candy,
Allsorts 83,Anything goes.

From a Different Angle

Big mistake only photographing this gift bag from the one angle, now that I've looked,it looks like I've made a door hanger!
The gift bag actually had a square base, not that it looks like it here, lol! The trouble was that I generally use my daughter's camera for my blog photos as it takes a much sharper picture than mine. As usual though, she's misplaced her charger and the battery went flat after only one snap but great news,my lovely hubbie has just ordered me up a similar camera so should be good!!!! I'm just a bit excited too. The gift bag was made using the lovely "Poppy Seeds" designer paper pack by K&Co I used my Nestie Trick of placing the cutting pad on only part of the die to cut the handle from the paper using Both a Scalloped circle and my Nesting Circle at the same time, the little semicircle that remained,I used to fold over the top to seal the bag. I hope that if you look at this design you'll be able to get what I mean,I've attached a flower to the flap. I added a lit of bling to the bag, highlighting some of the design with sticky flat backed gems.
I'm entering the following challenges with this:-
Treehouse Thursday Challenge 54, Your Favourite tool.(Couldn't live without my Fiskars cutter/scorer,followed extremely closely by my Cuttlebug.)
